Save The Inventor Premieres Inventing To Nowhere at South by Southwest 2015 to Sold Out Crowd

More than 300 people packed into Austin’s historic Driskill Hotel on Sunday, March 15th to watch the patent-focused documentary, Inventing to Nowhere. The official SXSW 2015 event was complete with drinks, popcorn, a mac and cheese bar, and the straight-from-the-garage stomp and roll sounds of The Ghost Wolves.

After the screening, the crowd participated in a panel discussion featuring Michael Douglas, Ph.D. – Texas Life-Sciences Collaboration Center, Conley Giles – Founder and CEO of Invent It 2 Day, and Evan Fitzmaurice – Senior Attorney, The University of Texas System, who discussed their concerns with the Innovation Act (H.R. 9) from the perspective of universities, investors and small inventors.
