Congressman Moran, Colleagues Reintroduce Legislation to Strengthen Patent Protections, Restore Injunctive Relief

Washington, D.C. Congressman Nathaniel Moran (R-TX-01) and Congresswoman Madeleine Dean (D-PA-04) reintroduced the Realizing Engineering, Science, and Technology Opportunities by Restoring Exclusive (RESTORE) Patent Rights Act of 2025. Building on efforts from introduction in the 118th Congress, this bipartisan, bicameral legislation aims to restore the presumption that courts will issue injunctions to stop patent infringers, strengthening protections for U.S. inventors, entrepreneurs, universities, and startups.
